Archetype 9 Artisan

Great artisans are usually capable of:

  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
  • Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
  • Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Mediator

Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Other work activities related to Postal service clerks

  • Keeping money drawers in order, and recording and balancing daily transactions.
  • Weighing letters and parcels, computing mailing costs based on types, weights, and destinations, and affixing the adequate postages.
  • Obtaining signatures from recipients of registered or special delivery mail.
  • Registering, certifying, and insuring letters and parcels.
  • Selling and collecting payment for products such as stamps, prepaid mail envelopes, and money orders.
  • Checking mail for ensuring the adequate postage and that packages and letters are in proper conditions for mailing.
  • Answering questions regarding mail regulations and procedures, postage rates, and post office boxes.
  • Completing forms regarding changes of address, or theft or loss of mail, or for special services such as registered or priority mail.
  • Providing assistance to the public in complying with federal regulations of Postal Servicing and other federal agencies.
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing mails, according to types and destinations, by hand or by operating electronic mail sorting and scanning devices.
