- Conferring with department supervisors or other personnel for assessing progress and discussing needed changes.
- Revising production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
- Conferring with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers for coordinating production or shipping activities and for resolving complaints or eliminating delays.
