Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Artisan

Great artisans are usually capable of:
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
- Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
- Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Other work activities related to Lifeguards, ski patrol, and other recreational protective service workers
- Maintaining quality of pool water by testing chemical levels.
- Rescuing distressed persons, using rescuing techniques and equipment.
- Contacting emergency medical personnel in case of serious injury.
- Patrolling or monitoring recreational areas such as trails, slopes, or swimming areas, on foot, in vehicles, or from towers.
- Examining injured persons and administering first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment.
- Instructing participants in skiing, swimming, or other recreational activities and providing safety precaution information.
- Warning recreational participants of inclement weather, unsafe areas, or illegal conducting.
- Completing and maintaining records of weather and beach conditions, emergency medical treatments performed, and other relevant incident information.
- Inspecting recreational equipment, such as rope tows, T bars, J bars, or chair lifts, for safety hazards and damage or wear.
- Providing assistance with staff selection, training, and supervision.
