Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Administrator

Any administrator should excel at:
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates, as well as communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
- Maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
- Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and promoting employees in an organization, and getting them to work together to accomplish tasks by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
Other work activities related to Fitness and wellness coordinators
- Maintaining or arranging for maintenance of fitness equipment or facilities.
- Developing marketing campaigns for promoting a healthy lifestyle or participation in fitness or wellness programs.
- Conducting needs assessments or surveys for determining interest in, or satisfaction with, wellness and fitness programs, events, or services.
- Teaching fitness classes for improving strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, or general fitness of participants.
- Selecting or supervising contractors, such as event hosts or health, fitness, and wellness practitioners.
- Responding to customer, public, or media requests for information about wellness programs or services.
- Recommending or approving new offerings of programs or services for promoting wellness and fitness, producing revenues, or minimizing costs.
- Preparing or implementing budgets and strategic, operational, purchasing, or maintenance plans.
- Organizing and overseeing health screenings or other preventive measures, such as mammography, blood pressure, or cholesterol screenings or flu vaccinations.
