Innovators will usually have four main goals:

  • Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
  • Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.

Administrator

Archetype 1 Administrator

Any administrator should excel at:

  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates, as well as communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • Maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and promoting employees in an organization, and getting them to work together to accomplish tasks by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.

Other work activities related to Singers

  • Memorizing musical selections and routines, or singing following printed text, musical notation, or customer instructions.
  • Singing as a soloist or as a member of a vocal group.
  • Performing before live audiences, or in television, radio, or movie productions.
  • Interpreting or modifying music, applying knowledge of harmony, melody, rhythm, and voice production for individualizing presentations and maintaining audience interest.
  • Practicing singing exercises and studying with vocal coaches for developing voice and skills and to rehearse for upcoming roles.
  • Singing a cappella or with musical accompaniment.
  • Observing choral leaders or prompters for cues or directions in vocal presentation.
  • Making or participating in recordings.
  • Seeking out and learning new music suitable for live performance or recording.
  • Composing songs or creating vocal arrangements.
  • Collaborating with a manager or agent who is handling administrative details, finding works, and determining contracts.
