Analyzer

Analyzers will often perform the following tasks:
- Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
- Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people.
- Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
Innovator

Innovators will usually have four main goals:
- Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
- Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.
Other work activities related to Zootechnician
- Writing up or orally communicating researching findings to the scientific community, producers, and the public.
- Conducting researches concerning animal nutrition, breeding, or management for improving products or processes.
- Studying nutritional requirements of animals and nutritive values of animal feeding materials.
- Studying effects of management practices, processing methods, feeding, or environmental conditions on quality and quantity of animal products, such as eggs and milk.
- Developing improved practices in feeding, housing, sanitation, or parasite and disease controlling of animals.
- Researching and controlling animal selection and breeding practices for increasing production efficiency and improving animal quality.
- Determining genetic composition of animal populations and heritability of traits, using principles of genetics.
