Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Supervisor

Any supervisor should excel at:
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment.
- Detecting or assessing problems whether real or potential.
- Monitoring and controlling resources and overseeing the spending of money.

- Maintaining accurate, detailed reports and recordings.
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
- Recording patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Modifying patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
- Consulting and coordinating with healthcare team members for assessing, planning, implementing, or evaluating patient caring plans.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests for identifying and assessing patient’s conditions.
- Directing or supervising less skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervising a particular unit.
- Preparing patients for and assisting with examinations or treatments.
- Assessing the needs of individuals, families, or communities, including assessment of individuals’ home or working environments, for identifying potential health or safety problems.
- Instructing individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and developing health improvement programs.
