- Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

- Sketching out prominent chins, noses, hairlines, or other facial characteristics from the victim’s description.
- Using pencil, charcoal, or digital mediums for drawing.
- Asking questions regarding the physical appearance of the subject.
- Classifying and cataloging the images using the established police systems.
- Sketching proceedings of courtrooms when cameras are not allowed.
- Modifying the image until the witness or victim is satisfied that the image is the best possible representation of the suspect.
