Inspector

Archetype 6 Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:

  • Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Other work activities related to Pathologists

  • Reviewing cases by analyzing autopsies, laboratory findings, or case investigation reports.
  • Managing medical laboratories.
  • Reading current literature, talk with colleagues, or participating in professional organizations or conferences for keeping abreast of developments in pathology.
  • Developing or adopt new tests or instruments for improving diagnosis of diseases.
  • Educating physicians, students, and other personnel in medical laboratory professions such as medical technology, cytotechnology, or histotechnology.
