Supervisor

Any supervisor should excel at:
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment.
- Detecting or assessing problems whether real or potential.
- Monitoring and controlling resources and overseeing the spending of money.

- Observing machine operations for ensuring quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
- Adjusting machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
- Tending or operating machine that packages product.
- Removing finished packaged items from machine and separating rejected items.
- Regulating machine flow, speed, or temperature.
- Stopping or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clearing machine jams, and reporting malfunctions to a supervisor.
- Securing finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.
- Stocking and sorting product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glues, inks, or labels.
- Inspecting and removing defective products and packaging material.
- Cleaning and removing damaged or otherwise inferior materials to preparing raw products for processing.
