Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Inspector

Archetype 6 Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:

  • Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Other work activities related to Locker room, coatroom, and dressing room attendants

  • Cleaning facilities such as floors or locker rooms.
  • Assigning dressing room facilities, locker space, or clothing containers to patrons of athletic or bathing establishments.
  • Answering customer inquiries or explaining cost, availability, policies, and procedures of facilities.
  • Checking supplies for ensuring adequate availability, and order new supplies when necessary.
  • Referring guest problems or complaints to supervisors.
  • Cleaning and polishing footwear, using brushes, sponges, cleaning fluid, polishes, waxes, liquid or sole dressing, and daubers.
  • Reporting and documenting safety hazards, potentially hazardous conditions, and unsafe practices and procedures.
  • Operating washing machines and dryers for cleaning soiled apparel and towels.
  • Monitoring patrons’ facility using for ensuring that rules and regulations are followed, and safety and order are maintained.
  • Activating emergency action plans and administering first aid, as necessary.
  • Storing personal possessions for patrons, issuing claim checks for articles stored, and returning articles on receipt of checks.
