Administrator

Any administrator should excel at:
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates, as well as communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
- Maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
- Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and promoting employees in an organization, and getting them to work together to accomplish tasks by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
Technician

Technicians will often be asked these tasks:
- Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
- Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
Other work activities related to Film and video editors
- Cutting shot sequences to different angles at specific points in scenes, making each individual cutting as fluid and seamless as possible.
- Studying scripts for becoming familiar with production concepts and requirements.
- Editing films and videotapes for inserting music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arranging films into sequences, and for correcting errors, using editing equipment.
- Selecting and combining the most effective shots of each scene for forming a logical and smoothly running story.
- Marking frames where a particular shot or piece of sound is to begin or end.
- Determining the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary for completing films.
- Verifying key numbers and time codes on materials.
- Organizing and stringing together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts or the instructions of directors and producers.
- Reviewing assembled films or edited videotapes on screens or monitors for determining if corrections are necessary.
