Strategist

  • Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

  • Writing advertising copy for using by publication, broadcast, or internet media for promoting the sale of goods and services.
  • Presenting drafts and ideas to clients.
  • Discussing with the client the product, advertising themes and methods, and any changes that should be made in advertising copy.
  • Vary language and tone of messages based on product and medium.
  • Consulting with sales, media and marketing representatives for obtaining information on product or service and discussing style and length of advertising copy.
  • Editing or rewrite existing copy as necessary, and submitting copy for approval by supervisor.
  • Writing to customers in their terms and on their levels so that the advertiser’s sales message is more readily received.
  • Writing articles, bulletins, sales letters, speeches, and other related informative, marketing and promotional material.
  • Invent names for products and writing the slogans that appear on packaging, brochures and other promotional material.
