Any administrator should excel at:

Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

- Reviewing or evaluating designs for contaminant treatment or disposal facilities.

- Providing expert witness testimony on issues such as soil, air, or water contamination and the associated cleanup measures.
- Preparing reports or presentations for communicating brownfield redevelopment needs, status, or progress.
- Negotiating contracts for services or materials needed for environmental remediation.
- Preparing and submitting permit applications for demolition, cleanup, remediation, or construction projects.
- Maintaining records of decisions, actions, and progress related to environmental redevelopment projects.
- Inspecting sites for assessing environmental damage or monitoring cleanup progress.
- Planning or implementing brownfield redevelopment projects for ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with applicable standards or requirements.
