Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Innovator

Innovators will usually have four main goals:
- Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
- Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.
Other work activities related to Barbers
- Cleaning and sterilizing scissors, combs, clippers, and other instruments.
- Cutting and trimming hair according to clients’ instructions or current hairstyles, using clippers, combs, hand held blow dryers, and scissors.
- Questioning patrons regarding desired services and haircut styles.
- Cleaning working stations and sweeping floors.
- Recording services provided on cashiers’ tickets or receiving payment from customers.
- Ordering supplies.
- Shaping and trimming beards and moustaches, using scissors.•Staying informed of the latest styles and hair caring techniques.
- Suggesting treatments to alleviate hair problems.
- Shampooing hair.
- Keeping card files on clientele, recording notes of working done, products used and fees charged after each visiting.
- Performing clerical and administrative duties such as keeping records, paying bills, and hiring and supervising personnel.
- Curling, coloring, or straightening hair, using special chemical solutions and equipment.
- Applying lather and shaving beards or neck and temple hair contours, using razors.
