Archetype 1 Administrator

Any administrator should excel at:

  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates, as well as communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • Maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and promoting employees in an organization, and getting them to work together to accomplish tasks by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.

Artisan

Archetype 9 Artisan

Great artisans are usually capable of:

  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
  • Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
  • Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Other work activities related to Animal control workers

  • Investigating reports of animal attacks or animal cruelty, interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and writing reports.
  • Capturing and removing stray, uncontrolled, or abused animals from undesirable conditions, using nets, nooses, or tranquilizer darts as necessary.
  • Examining animals for injuries or malnutrition, and arranging for any necessary medical treatment.
  • Removing captured animals from animal controlling service vehicles and placing animals in shelter cages or other enclosures.
  • Euthanize rabid, unclaimed, or severely injured animals.
  • Supplying animals with food, water, and personal caring.
  • Preparing for prosecutions related to animal treatment, and giving evidence in court.
  • Educating the public about animal welfare, and animal controlling laws and regulations.
  • Contacting animal owners for informing them that their pets are at animal holding facilities.
  • Writing reports of activities, and maintaining files of impoundments and dispositions of animals.
