Controller

Controllers are expected to be good at:
- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate manufacturing systems.
- Working with hand operated industrial machines and power tools.
- Adjusting knobs, levers, and physical or touch sensitive buttons in industrial devices.
- Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or watercraft.
Other work activities related to Aircraft launch and recovery specialists
- Installing and maintaining visual landing aids.
- Testing and maintaining launch and recovery equipment using electric and mechanical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Activating airfield arresting systems, such as crash barriers and cables, during emergency landing situations.
- Directing aircraft launch and recovery operations using hand or light signals.
- Maintaining logs of airplane launches, recoveries, and equipment maintenance.
