Archetype 9 Artisan

Great artisans are usually capable of:

  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
  • Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
  • Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Controller

Archetype 4 Controller

Controllers are expected to be good at:

  • Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate manufacturing systems.
  • Working with hand operated industrial machines and power tools.
  • Adjusting knobs, levers, and physical or touch sensitive buttons in industrial devices.
  • Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, aircraft, or watercraft.

Other work activities related to Agricultural equipment operators

  • Adjusting, repairing, and service farm machinery and notifying supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
  • Observing and listening to machinery operation for detecting equipment malfunctions.
  • Irrigating soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintaining ditches or pipes and pumps.
  • Mixing specified materials or chemicals, and dumping solutions, powders, or seeds into planting or spraying machinery.
  • Operating or tending equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
  • Manipulating controls for setting, activating, and adjusting mechanisms on machinery.
  • Directing and monitoring the activities of working crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities.
  • Spraying fertilizer or pesticide solutions for controlling insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers.
  • Attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
  • Operating towing machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders for planting, fertilizing, dusting, and spraying crops.
