Supervisor

Any supervisor should excel at:
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment.
- Detecting or assessing problems whether real or potential.
- Monitoring and controlling resources and overseeing the spending of money.
Other work activities related to Textile bleaching and dyeing machine operators and tenders
- Adding dyes, water, detergents, or chemicals to tanks to dilute or strengthen solutions, according to established formulas and solution testing results.
- Notifying supervisors or mechanics of equipment malfunctions.
- Adjusting equipment controls for maintaining specified heat, tension, and speed.
- Observing display screens, controlling panels, equipment, and cloth entering or exiting processes for determining if equipment is operating correctly.
- Preparing dyeing machines for production runs, and conducting testing runs of machines for ensuring their proper operation.
- Monitoring factors such as temperatures and dye flow rates for ensuring that they are within specified ranges.
- Starting and controlling machines and equipment for washing, bleaching, dyeing, or otherwise processing and finishing fabrics, yarns, threads, or other textile goods.
- Examining and touching products for identifying defects and variations from coloring and other processing standards.
- Recording production information such as fabric yardage processed, temperature readings, fabric tensions, and machine speeds.
