• Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Great artisans are usually capable of:

• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
• Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
• Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

• Cleaning, disinfecting, or calibrating scopes or other endoscopic instruments according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards.
• Maintaining inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Performing safety checks for verifying proper equipment functioning.
• Preparing suites or rooms according to endoscopic procedure requirements.
• Maintaining or repairing endoscopic equipment.
• Positioning or transporting patients in accordance with instructions from medical personnel.
• Assisting physicians or registered nurses in the conducting of endoscopic procedures.
• Attending in service training to validate or refresh basic professional skills.
• Collecting specimens from patients using standard medical procedures.
• Conducting in service training sessions to disseminating information regarding equipment or instruments.
• Reading current literature, talk with colleagues, or participating in professional organizations or conferences for keeping abreast of developments in endoscopy.
