Most strategists should excel at:
- Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
- Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Other work activities related to Physician assistants
- Examining patients for obtaining information about their physical conditions.
- Interpreting diagnostic testing results for deviations from normal.
- Making tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.
- Obtaining, compiling and recording patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
- Administering or order diagnostic tests, such as x ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
- Prescribing therapy or medication with physician approval.
- Performing therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound caring, and infection management.
- Instructing and counseling patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Providing physicians with assistance during surgery or complicated medical procedures.
- Supervising and coordinating activities of technicians and technical assistants.
