Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Strategist

Most strategists should excel at:
- Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
- Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
Other work activities related to Radio and television announcers
- Identifying stations, and introducing or closing shows, ad libbing or using memorized or reading scripts.
- Developing story lines for broadcasts.
- Writing and editing video and scripts for broadcasts.
- Maintaining organization of the music library.
- Preparing and delivering news, sports, or weather reports, gathering and rewriting material so that it will convey required information while fitting specific time slots.
- Reading news flashes for informing audiences of important events.
- Selecting programs content, in conjunction with producers and assistants, based on factors such as programs specialties, audience tastes, or requests from the public.
- Studying background information to preparing for programs or interviews.
- Commenting on music and other matters, such as weather or traffic conditions.
- Interviewing show guests about their lives, their working, or topics of current interest.
- Discussing various topics over the telephone with viewers or listeners.
