Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Innovator

Innovators will usually have four main goals:
- Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
- Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.
Other work activities related to Mental health counselors
- Encouraging clients to express their feelings and discussing what is happening in their lives, helping them for developing insight into themselves or their relationships.
- Guiding clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
- Preparing and maintaining all required treatment records and reports.
- Counseling clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assisting in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes.
- Collecting information about clients through interviews, observation, or tests.
- Acting as client advocates for coordinating required services or for resolving emergency problems in crisis situations.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
- Collaborating with other staff members to performing clinical assessments or developing treatment plans.
- Evaluating clients’ physical or mental conditions, based on reviewing of client information.
