Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Other work activities related to Surgeons
- Analyzing patient’s medical history, medication allergies, physical conditions, and examination results for verifying operation’s necessity and for determining best procedure.
- Operating on patients for correcting deformities, repairing injuries, preventing and treating diseases, or improving or restoring patients’ functions.
- Following established surgical techniques during the operation.
- Prescribing preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures, such as sedatives, diets, antibiotics, or preparation and treatment of the patient’s operative area.
- Examining patient for obtaining information on medical conditions and surgical risk.
- Diagnosing bodily disorders and orthopedic conditions and providing treatments, such as medicines and surgeries, in clinics, hospital wards, or operating rooms.
- Directing and coordinating activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, residents, and other medical staff.
- Providing consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and surgeons.
