Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Supervisor

Any supervisor should excel at:
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment.
- Detecting or assessing problems whether real or potential.
- Monitoring and controlling resources and overseeing the spending of money.
Other work activities related to Pharmacy technicians
- Prepacking bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels.
- Receiving and storing incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, checking for outdated medications in current inventory, and informing supervisors of stocks needs and shortages.
- Restocking intravenous (IV) supplies and adding measured drugs or nutrients to IV solutions under sterile conditions to preparing IV packs for various uses, such as chemotherapy medication.
- Receiving written prescription or refilling requests and verifying that information is thorough and accurate.
- Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
- Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests.
- Pricing and file prescriptions that have been filled.
- Cleaning and helping in maintaining equipment or working areas and sterilizing glassware, according to prescribed methods.
- Establishing or maintaining patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients.
