Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Innovator

Archetype 5 Innovator

Innovators will usually have four main goals:

  • Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
  • Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.

Other work activities related to Oral and maxillofacial surgeons

  • Performing minor cosmetic procedures, such as chin and cheekbone enhancements.
  • Performing minor facial rejuvenation procedures, including the using of Botox and laser technology.
  • Administering general and local anesthetics.
  • Removing impacted, damaged, and non restorable teeth.
  • Evaluating the positions of the wisdom teeth for determining whether problems exist currently or might occur in the future.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists, for planning treatment.
  • Performing surgery to preparing the mouth for dental implants, and for aiding in the regeneration of deficient bone and gum tissues.
  • Removing tumors and other abnormal growths of the oral and facial regions, using surgical instruments.
  • Treating infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws, and neck.
  • Treating problems affecting the oral mucosa, such as mouth ulcers and infections.
  • Providing emergency treatment of facial injuries including facial lacerations, intra oral lacerations, and fractured facial bones.
