Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Analyzers will often perform the following tasks:

  • Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

Other work activities related to Musicians, instrumental

  • Practicing musical instrument performances, individually or in rehearsal with other musicians, to master individual pieces of music or for maintaining and improving skills.
  • Performing before live audiences in concerts, recitals, educational presentations, and other social gatherings.
  • Listening to recordings for mastering pieces or for maintaining and improving skills.
  • Arranging and editing music for fitting style and purpose.
  • Playing musical instruments as soloists, or as members or guest artists of musical groups such as orchestras, ensembles, or bands.
  • Playing from memory or by following scores.
  • Auditioning for orchestras, bands, or other musical groups.
  • Providing the musical background for live shows, such as ballets, operas, musical theatre, and cabarets.
  • Transpose music to alternate keys, or for fitting individual styles or purposes.
  • Promoting their own or their group’s music by participating in media interviews and other activities.
