Innovator

Innovators will usually have four main goals:
- Developing or creating new applications, relationships, systems, or products.
- Providing creative ideas or artistic contributions.
- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Benchmarking, experimenting and testing novel approaches to solving problems.

- Preparing, or directing the preparation of, product or system layouts and detailed drawings and schematics.
- Inspecting marine equipment and machinery for drawing up working requests and job specifications.
- Conducting analytical, environmental, operational, or performance studies for developing designs for products, such as marine engines, equipment, and structures.
- Designing and overseeing testing, installation, and repairing of marine apparatus and equipment.
- Preparing plans, estimates, design and construction schedules, and contract specifications, including any special provisions.
