Inspectors should be great at:

  • Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Analyzer

Archetype 3 Analyzer

Analyzers will often perform the following tasks:

  • Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

Other work activities related to Financial analysts

  • Conducting financial analyses related to investments in green construction or green retrofitting projects.
  • Determining the financial viability of alternative energy generation or fuel production systems, based on power source or feedstock quality, financing costs, potential revenue, and total project costs.
  • Evaluating financial viability and potential environmental benefits of cleantech innovations for securing capital investments from sources such as venture capital firms and government green fund grants.
  • Forecasting or analyzing financial costs associated with climate change or other environmental factors, such as cleaning water supplies and demands.
  • Identifying potential financial investments that are environmentally sound, considering issues such as carbon emissions and biodiversity.
  • Researching and recommending environmentally related financial products, such as energy futures, water rights, carbon credits, government environmental funds, and cleantech industry funds and company stocks.
