  • Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

Mediator

Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Other work activities related to Directors, religious activities and education

  • Training and supervising religious education instructional staff.
  • Developing or directing studying courses or religious education programs within congregations.
  • Selecting appropriate curricula or class structures for educational programs.
  • Implementing the programs plans by ordering the needed materials, scheduling speakers, reserving spaces, or handling other administrative details.
  • Counseling individuals regarding interpersonal, health, financial, or religious problems.
  • Analyzing member participation or changes in congregational emphasis for determining needs for religious education.
  • Collaborating with other ministry members to establishing goals and objectives for religious education programs or for developing ways for encouraging the participation in those programs.
  • Scheduling special events such as camps, conferences, meetings, seminars, or retreats.
  • Conferring with clergy members, congregational officials, or congregational organizations for encouraging supporting of or participation in religious education activities.
