Great artisans are usually capable of:
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
- Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
- Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:
- Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
Other work activities related to Adapted physical education specialists
- Requesting or ordering physical education equipment, following standard procedures.
- Writing reports for summarizing student performance, social growth, or physical development.
- Attending in service training, workshops, or meetings for keeping abreast of current practices or trends in adapted physical education.
- Writing or modifying individualized education plans (ieps) for students with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Providing students positive feedback for encouraging them and helping them in developing an appreciating physical education.
- Providing individual or small groups of students with adapted physical education instruction that meets desired physical needs or goals.
- Preparing lesson plans in accordance with individualized education plans (ieps) and the functional abilities or needs of students.
- Maintaining thorough student records for documenting attendance, participation, or progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
