• Maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
• Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, and promoting employees in an organization, and getting them to work together to accomplish tasks by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.

• Directing the deployment of infantry weapons, vehicles, and equipment.
• Directing the location, construction, and camouflaging operations of infantry positions and equipment.
• Managing field communications operations.
• Coordinating with armor, artillery, and air supporting units.
• Performing strategic and tactical planning, including the development of battle plans.
• Leading basic reconnaissance operations.
