Strategist

Most strategists should excel at:

  • Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

Other work activities related to Precious metal workers

  • Cutting and file pieces of jewelry such as rings, brooches, bracelets, and lockets.
  • Soldering parts together or filling holes and cracks with metal solder, using gas torches.
  • Polishing articles by hand or by using a polishing wheel.
  • Piercing and cutting multiple designs in ornamentation, using hand drills and scroll saws.
  • Positioning and aligning auxiliary parts in jigs and joining parts, using solder and blowtorches.
  • Examining articles for determining the nature of defects requiring repairing, such as dents, uneven bottoms, scratches, or holes.
