Most strategists should excel at:

Technician

Technicians will often be asked these tasks:
- Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
- Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
Other work activities related to Home appliance repairers
- Disassembling appliances so that problems can be diagnosed and repairs can be made.
- Billing customers for repairing working, and collecting payment.
- Tracing electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conducting tests with circuit testers and other equipment for locating shorts and grounds.
- Servicing and repairing domestic electrical or gas appliances, such as clothes washers, refrigerators, stoves, and dryers.
- Replacing worn and defective parts such as switches, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, circuit boards, or defective wiring.
- Talk to customers or referring to working orders to establishing the nature of appliance malfunctions.
- Reassembling units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed.
- Recording maintenance and repairing working performed on appliances.
- Providing repairing cost estimates, and recommending whether appliance repairing or replacement is a better choice.
- Maintaining stocks of parts used in on site installation, maintenance, and repairing of appliances.
