Archetype 3 Analyzer

Analyzers will often perform the following tasks:

  • Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

Inspector

Archetype 6 Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:

  • Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Other work activities related to Court clerks

  • Performing administrative tasks, such as answering telephone calls, filing court documents, or maintaining office supplies or equipment.
  • Preparing staff schedules.
  • Preparing dockets or calendars of cases to be called, using typewriters or computers.
  • Recording case dispositions, court orders, or arrangements made for payment of court fees.
  • Answering inquiries from the general public regarding judicial procedures, court appearances, trial dates, adjournments, outstanding warrants, summonses, subpoenas, witness fees, or payment of fines.
  • Preparing and issuing orders of the court, such as probation orders, release documentation, sentencing information, or summonses.
  • Preparing documents recording the outcomes of court proceedings.
  • Instructing parties about timing of court appearances.
  • Explaining procedures or forms to parties in cases or to the general public.
  • Searching files and contacting witnesses, attorneys, or litigants for obtaining information for the court.
