Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Analyzer

Archetype 3 Analyzer

Analyzers will often perform the following tasks:

  • Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

Other work activities related to Manicurists and pedicurists

  • Preparing nail cuticles with water and oil, using cuticle knives for pushing back cuticles and scissors or nippers for trimming cuticles.
  • Preparing customers’ nails in soapy water, using swabs, files, and orange sticks.
  • Using rotary abrasive wheels for shaping and smooth nails or artificial extensions.
  • Assessing the conditions of clients’ hands, removing dead skin, and massaging hands.
  • Treating nails for repairing or improving strength and resilience by wrapping.
  • Extending nails using powder, solvent, and paper forms attached to tips of customers’ fingers for supporting and shaping artificial nails.
  • Cleaning and sanitize tools and working environment.
  • Scheduling client appointments and accepting payments.
  • Removing previously applied nail polish, using liquid remover and swabs.
  • Shaping and smooth ends of nails, using scissors, files, or emery boards.
  • Applying undercoat and transparent or colored polishes onto nails with brushes.
  • Advising clients on caring for their nails and the usage of products and colors.
