Great artisans are usually capable of:
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
- Performing precise and skillful manipulation of small objects.
- Being active and proactive in regards to physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

- Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other working areas so that health standards are met.
- Emptying wastebaskets, emptying and cleaning ashtrays, and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Keeping storage areas and carts well stocked, cleaning, and tidying.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
- Washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Hanging draperies and dusting window blinds.
- Disinfecting equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam operated sterilizers.
- Observing precautions required for protecting hotel and guest property and reporting damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
