Archetype 6 Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:

  • Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Mediator

Archetype 7 Mediator

Mediators should be capable of:

  • Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Performing for people or dealing directly with the public. This includes serving customers in restaurants and stores, and receiving clients or guests.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Other work activities related to Acupuncturists

  • Formulating herbal preparations for treating conditions considering herbal properties such as flavor, toxicity, effects of preparation, contraindications, and incompatibilities.
  • Maintaining and following standard quality, safety, environmental and infection controlling policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining detailed and completing records of health caring plans and prognoses.
  • Dispensing herbal formulas and informing patients of dosages and frequencies, treatment duration, possible side effects and drug interactions.
  • Considering Western medical procedures in health assessment, health caring team communication, and caring referrals.
  • Adhering to local, state and federal laws, regulations and statutes.
  • Treating patients using tools such as needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, pellets, or nutritional supplements.
  • Educating patients on topics such as meditation, ergonomics, stretching, exercises, nutrition, the healing processes, breathing, or relaxation techniques.
