Inspector

Inspectors should be great at:
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Other work activities related to Pathologists
- Reviewing cases by analyzing autopsies, laboratory findings, or case investigation reports.
- Managing medical laboratories.
- Reading current literature, talk with colleagues, or participating in professional organizations or conferences for keeping abreast of developments in pathology.
- Developing or adopt new tests or instruments for improving diagnosis of diseases.
- Educating physicians, students, and other personnel in medical laboratory professions such as medical technology, cytotechnology, or histotechnology.
- Conducting researching and presenting scientific findings.
- Performing autopsies for determining causes of deaths.
- Planning and supervising the working of the pathology staff, residents or visiting pathologists.
